This year we’ve seen lots of news about the alarming increases on fuel prices and the growing inflation rates. Since media headlines can sometimes be somewhat exaggerated, I wanted to look at the real numbers myself and draw my own conclusions.
To create the below data viz I used the Consumer Price Inflation Index data from the UK’s Office for National Statistics; and the Fuel prices from the UK’s Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy.
